The Roller Assembly with Motor MAC Series Writer is part of the thermal writer assembly. The roller assembly controls the movement of the writer arm and the tray. The motion is driven and controlled by a miniature DC servo motor. It fits into narrow places and where position control is needed due to its compact size. There is no noise, even at higher speeds and hence the roller movement of the assembly is free of vibration. The shaft, which acts as an axis of the roller assembly is made up of cold rolled steel, hence it can withstand high loads. To withstand recurring movement, the springs are made up of music wire which can endure high stress, which increases the working life of the product. The roller movements are aided by the roller bearings. These precise movements are controlled by a well-built PCB circuit board which paves the way for a smoother operation. The roller assembly is compatible with the MAC 3500 series.
