The overload protection ability is excellent and gives protection against short circuiting and output overload. It is factory set with fixed resistors to adjust the voltage to maximize reliability. It gives a maximum efficiency of up to 70%. The input as fuse is designed to blow only if a catastrophic failure occurs. The current leakage is less than 25 microamps. It is UL certified. Its flexibility gives a wide range of inputs makes it available for a wide range of applications. The covers are made up of an ABS material. It has strong impact and heat resistant properties, which protects the power unit form external environments. This power unit is also used in the battery to board and the display assembly of the Mac5500.
