Blood pressure (BP) cuff transducer sensor for use on adult thighs or arms of tall adults with limb circumference range from 39 to 62 cm. Using the optional TEC-CAS-A adapter, two (2) cuff transducers can be cascaded to extend the upper range to 124 cm for proper bariatric patient BP monitoring. The BP cuff transducer is an economical ultra high performance alternative to minimally functional antiquated blood pressure cuffs whose initial design dates back to 1905. The unique environmental design allows it to be washed between patients using accepted procedures in place for cleaning and reuse of gowns and linen. Redistribution of clean UT-3962 BP Cuff Transducers reduces the cost per patient by over 50% compared to disposable cuffs.
