Springer Controls, JC5006P1K-UE, Enclosed AC Motor Starter, 3-Phase, 30.0 HP, 460V
This inexpensive enclosed AC motor starter provides reliable protection for motors by halting current during hazardous operating conditions. Upon a return to normal operating temperatures and regular current, the starter will resume the flow of electricity to the motor. Once installed this starter will provide overload protection and restart the system without any effort from operators.
Although simplicity and ease of operation is a major strength of this system, the overload is adjustable to allow for changes in ambient temperature such as hot weather or a kitchen heating up. Once the overload has been adjusted the technician can press the manual reset button to restart the system.
This starter features a Nema 1, 12, 4, & 4x, and IP 65 certified enclosure. The buttons are integrated into the system for ease of installation. No cover wiring is required. See the wiring diagram above to review the system.
All of the components of this starter are UL approved. Springer Controls is UL certified (508A) to build starters and control panels up to 500 hp.
