The product removes rust, stains, spotting, hard water scale and mineral deposits frequently encountered from sterilization. It also helps to loosen stiff joints and locks. It is recommended that a routine preventative program be initiated using Surgistain weekly or bi-monthly as needed. Regular use will enhance the life and efficiency of stainless steel instruments, trays, basins and case carts while lowering replacement costs. As a mild acid solution, Surgistain is safe to use on delicate instruments as well as the various endoscope and microscope accessories and ophthalmological instruments. Surgistain is not recommended for use on chrome or silver plated instruments.
