This Mellanox QSFP28 to QSFP28 cable is an assembly of 4 full-duplex lanes, where each lane is capable of transmitting data at high rates. The MFS1S50 provides connectivity between systems using an HDR QSFP28 switch port on one end and two HDR100 HCA QSFP28 ports on the other. The MFS1S50 connects the data signals from each of 2 lanes on the single QSFP28 end to 2 lanes on each of the two QSFP28 ends on the HDR100 multiport side. Mellanox's active optical cables are designed to create small environmental footprint.
