Product Overview

The Display Overlay and O-Rings are a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) Kit that consists of the display overlay and O-rings that fit between display housing assembly and top cover. This kit is used in MAC 2000. The display overlay and rings are fixed in between keypad and display top cover to seal the gap. O-Rings are also known as circular sealing, which is widely used in cylindrical application to prevent leakages. It is used in a place where it is compressed in between two or more surfaces. They are usually seated in a groove and compressed between two or more parts, thereby creating a seal at the interface. The O-Rings are generally made of rubber so it can it return to its original shape upon compression and provides excellent flexibility during operation. It is used to prevent the fluid or air from escaping when it is compressed between two surfaces. O-Rings are made of neoprene rubber, which are very strong and have good chemical and heat resistance. It is a highly resistant material and resists degradation more than natural or synthetic rubber.

Additional Features:
  • Good chemical and heat resistance
  • Good flex cracking resistance
  • Good rebound rating
  • It has strong resistance to oils, UV light and ozone
  • Withstand temperature -35° C to 125° C
  • Features
    • Strong and robust
    • Good abrasion and tear resistance
    • Excellent impact resistance
