The MAC 3500-MAC 5500 HD Mobile Link 2.4 and 5GHz US Bridge Only is an assembly that consists of a product label and a Silex SD-320AN-US wireless serial networking module that is a high performance dual-band device server with Wi-Fi serial device connectivity. This device server is designed in such a way that it can connect and share RS-232 serial devices over a wireless network. It allows flexibility to place the device anywhere on the network instead of needing to be attached directly to the computer, and multiple computers or terminals can access the serial device. This device server provides optimized roaming between wireless access points, ensuring maximum uptime for the connection. This mode device server is equipped with an autosensing 10/100 Ethernet port and can also operate in wired mode to connect the ethernet network. It even can be connected virtually to any other device with serial port through secure and robust wireless network capability. More than one computer or terminals can access the device. It comes with an excellent WPA and WPA2 security. No other additional drivers or applications are needed, any wireless client can easily make a direct secure connection.
