The Patient Data Module (PDM) Flex Assembly is a custom designed main flex circuit assembly for use in Patient Data Module (PDM) equipment. It interfaces with the mainboard, ISO board, NBP pneumatic assembly, battery, User Interface (UI) board and ePort connector. The kit is comprised of the DAS rear cover gasket ePort system, main flex circuit assembly, six connectors, flex circuit, backerboard, carton bag, label and instruction manual. The flex assembly is made of a special material that has excellent chemical, radiation and corona resistance property, which makes it well suited for many medical applications. The flex circuit film is embedded with standard wire or ribbon cable to form a reliable electrical wire circuit assembly. Due to its compact design and easy handling, the assembly is used as a field replacement.
