The Patient Data Module (PDM) Battery is a lithium-ion battery that is a rechargeable, long lasting battery. The module is used in anesthesia system for patient monitoring. The Li-ion battery is a type of rechargeable battery in which lithium ions move from the negative electrode to the positive electrode during discharge and back when charging. It is a low-maintenance battery and well suited for many medical applications.
