It has the following main system functions like motion Control, CAN communications, system bus interface, battery transition interface, power supplies, diagnostics, redundancy and switch/brake/latch control. The locust drive board will provide for green LEDs to indicate the status of the 15V, 5V, 3.3V and 1.8V power supply voltages. It will also provide for red LEDs for power fuse error and board reset. Finally, the board will provide for two green LEDs for the heartbeat of the DSP and CPLD and a yellow LED to indicate the DSP in safe mode.
