The optics control board combines the optical and copper paths on the same board. The copper paths are used to distribute the power and low speed data, whereas the optical paths are used to handle the high speed signals and data. The control board is the optical control board (ocb) of the leeloo ccd platform. The ocb software supports two types of mcu: mc68hc912d60 and mc68hc912d60a. The 68hc912d60 microcontroller unit (mcu) is a 16-bit device available in two package options, 80-pin qfp and 112-pin tqfp. The 68hc912d60 has a full 16-bit data paths throughout. The ocb software uses 60k flash eeprom to store programs, 1k eeprom to store the parameter database, ect to accumulate aec pulses, mscan to do can communication between ocb and system, atd0 to get the potentiometer voltage of iris, ndf, rotation and one sci to communicate with ii power supply, and the other controlling adcm. Ocb uses the continuous potentiometer signals as feedback. Ocb uses a temperature sensor to get the temperature around the board. If the temperature is too high (> 60.0° c), ocb will send a can message to alert system. This optical circuit board is used to reduce the surface area of the board by 20% and also reduce the number of layers of the board by 50%.
