Mounting channels are used to secure GCX mounting products andaccessories. Channels are made of high strength aluminum and havea durable clear anodized satin finish.Channels permit mounting solutions to be set anywhere within the lengthof the channel. Various lengths of channel are available to accommodateapplications and devices with different vertical height requirements.When considering long lengths of channel, it may be useful to considerutilizing two shorter sections of channel with enough space betweenthe two sections to permit ease of installation and maintenance of themounted devices.Standard and Seismic channels: Intended to be secured to metal orwood studs with gypsum board or similar wall covering material.Seismic channels provide additional anchor points for security. Theseismic channel is California OSHPD pre-approved.
