Asset Information
Product Overview

The Rotary Encoder is provided in the incubator as a part of display panel assembly. A high technology processor in the display board helps to receive inputs from the rotary encoder switch and switch panels and also to control the Electroluminescent (EL) display contents where light is emitted according to the passage of an electric current through the display. The rotary encoder switch includes a cable, lock washer and a nut. A rotary control knob/pushbutton is connected to the switch through a display frame. It is rotated during the incubator usage. The number of steps the knob rotates will be converted into number of pulses and are displayed in display board. To remove or replace the rotary encoder for the EL display, the control knob can be pulled off the shaft, the electrical connectors are disconnected, nuts and lock washers which secure the encoder are removed. This comes as a part of MIC Giraffe™ OmniBed, MIC Giraffe™ Incubator, Modular, MIC Panda™ iRES Warmer, ARC ADU, Giraffe™ Incubator and MIC - Other Infant Care.
