Product Overview

The Latch Base is a component of the latch assembly in incubator systems. The incubator is an enclosed apparatus used for premature babies or neonates to provide warmth in a controlled and protective environment. The side door contains portholes used for routing a ventilator or an oscillator tube into the incubator without disturbing the functionality and the heat conditions. Physical access to the patient is obtained through the side portholes or by opening one of the side doors. The porthole door is fastened to the unit by means of latch assembly and can be opened by pressing it. The latch base comes as a part of latch assembly. There are two latch bases, one in the latch assembly of left door and the other in the right door. It is fastened to door by means of washers and screws. It provides a good grip for the porthole door.
