The Retaining Ring 0.188 Diameter Shaft is intended for use in the Giraffe™ OmniBed™ incubator and other medical equipment as applicable. The retaining ring is used to hold the O-ring is place in the bed and the side panels of Giraffe™ OmniBed™ incubator. The product helps hold the seated O-ring in a groove and compressed between two or more parts, thereby creating a seal at the interface. It is designed to create an excellent water-tight seal within a joint, thereby blocking the leakage of gases or liquids. The product is made of high quality beryllium copper that has excellent ductility, high elasticity and excellent yield strength which makes it well suited for many medical applications. It helps form an excellent leak barrier for medical equipment. The part is diligently designed for superior performance and reliability.
