Product Overview

The incubator is an enclosed apparatus used for premature babies or neonates to provide warmth in a controlled and protective environment. It combines a microprocessor control with effective thermal conditions and features like doors that allow access from either side, displays, controls to access the incubator and a bed manifold with a mattress. The Hinge - Pin is provided to hold the hood and porthole doors to the incubator unit while pulling hood up and down and while moving the doors sideways respectively. The side wall of a hinge is fastened to wall of the door by means of a hinge pin. The porthole doors, designed for routing oscillator or ventilator tubing, can be opened easily by snapping the hinges and can be removed by lifting them out of hinges. The pin is passivated which means free iron is removed from the surface, forming a thin oxide coating on the surface which protects it from corrosion. This makes the pin safe for use in varying conditions of incubator.
