The Cap w/ String Light Meter is used in the Maternal Infant Care (MIC) machines, warmers, incubators, other machines of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), ultrasound machines, patient monitoring machines, Computed Tomography (CT) machines and many other Digital Imaging (DI) machines. It is used to cover the light meter when it is not in use. It comes with the string that is tied to the light meter so it can't be missed. The light meter is a fiber optic phototherapy system, it is very sensitive and needs protection from dust. Therefore, the string holds the cover and the cover protects the light meter sensing area from any damage. It is removed and kept hanging when in use.
