The Enhanced Serial Interface Board (ESIB) Sub Assembly 7900 Calibrated is an interface board for the Aespire 7900 ventilator. The ESIB serves as the link between the flow transducers, patient airway pressure transducer, manifold pressure transducer, oxygen sensor, drive pressure limit switch and the ventilator CPU board. The ESIB also passes through various switch positions to the ventilator CPU board. It provides an interface for the ACGO switch, the Bag/Vent switch, the canister release switch, control panel cover switch (ABS On/Off), CO₂ bypass switch and breathing circuit ID switches. AII the switch signals are filtered for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and from Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). The pressure transducers for measuring differential pressure are located on the ESIB.
