The Three Solenoid Valve is a sub component of the vent engine assembly of an anesthesia machine. The solenoid helps to control flow of the liquid or gas through the connecting valves. It uses an electric current to generate a magnetic field. The power supply to the solenoid to be fed through the PVC insulated cables and a 6-position rectangular receptacle with tin-lead IDC connecting terminals which is an integral part of the design. It is used in UL Voluson P8, ARC Carestation 600, XR Optima XR220amx, ARC Aespire View, ARC iVent 201, ARC Aestiva 7100, Aisys and Avance systems.
