The Easy Change Canister Module, Includes Valve and Cap is a canister that is used in breathing system of anesthesia delivery. This component removes carbon dioxide from the patient's exhaled breath. These scrubbed gases can then be sent back to the patient. Use the optional EZchange canister mode for continued ventilation of the patient while changing the absorber canister. In EZChange option we can use both disposable and reusable canisters. Remove a canister on a standard system: 1.Hold the canister by the handle. 2. Push the Absorber Canister Release. 3. Push it down and away from the attachment point/support pins to remove the canister. Replace a canister on a standard system: 1. Hold the canister by the handle. 2. Tilt the canister down and place the lip of the canister so that it catches at its attachment point/support pins. 3. Push the other side of the canister up until you hear it snap into place. Empty the water reservoir in the canister when changing the absorbent. When replacing the canister, make sure it is resting on both support pins before latching it into place.
