The Seal Drain is a seal provided in circle module in the Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) of anesthesia machine. The circle module has inspiratory and expiratory limbs. During inspiration, fresh gas flows into the inspiratory limb of the circle module and then, into the patient. During exhalation, gas flows backwards into the expiratory limb of the circle module and then, out to the scavenging system. The circle module assembly contains module body, module cover, valves, O-rings, drain button and drain seal. The drain button, when compressed by a spring during scavenging, drain the gases.
