Product Overview

The O-ring is used to prevent the leakage of vapors from Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) in an anesthesia delivery machine. A common cause of vapor leakage is the absent or damaged O-ring. It is used in the flow meter assembly of a simple anesthesia machine, there are tubes through which gases flow to the outlet. O-rings are fitted at the ends of flow meter block for sealing purpose to avoid leakage. It is the most common type of seal used in a wide range of static or dynamic applications. It is seated in a groove and it is compressed between two or more parts to create an excellent seal. It is generally made of rubber due to which it returns to its original shape on compression. The O-ring is made of abrasion and tear resistant Nitrile Rubber (NBR) material.

Additional Features:
  • Good compression and resilience property Operating temperature ranges from -34° C (-30° F) up to 121° C (250° F)
  • Strong resistance to solvent and oil
  • RoHS certified
  • Features
    • Excellent abrasion resistance
    • Superior tear resistance
    • Fits well with metal
    • Acts as a leakage resistance for all kinds of applications
