The Electronic Vaporizer Assembly is an integral subsystem along with the agent cassette. The subsystem is provided to add an agent to the fresh gas flow. It mixes a specified amount of anesthetic agent into the fresh gas stream. The electronic control unit governs the flow through the agent cassette and the agent concentration in the fresh gas flow. The agent is delivered from the subsystem in one of two configurations depending on whether cassette pressure is below or above mixer output pressure.
