Therabath® Professional Thermotherapy Paraffin Bath has provided penetrating moist heat that helps relieve pain due to arthritis, muscle and joint stiffness and injury since 1962. Warm paraffin treatments, a form of thermotherapy, effectively increase blood flow to aid in rehabilitation, or to warm an area of the body prior to other therapies or exercise. Paraffin is also used extensively to soften dry, cracked skin by drawing moisture from within the body to the surface. The new Therabath TB6 model has a deeper tank allowing patients or users to immerse the hand or foot farther in to the wax covering a larger area of the body, providing more area to receive heat therapy.
